Co-Founder & President
As Co-Founder and President, Rick Hoback drives the strategic vision and financial growth of Genstone Field Services. A 20-year industry veteran, Rick oversees company operations, fiscal management, and long-term business development while maintaining a strong commitment to diversity and community impact.
Under his leadership, GFS has expanded from a regional provider into a nationally recognized field services organization known for quality, compliance, and partnership. Rick’s hands-on approach ensures that GFS continues to innovate while staying true to its founding values of integrity, accountability, and client-first service.

Denia Ray
Senior Vice President, National Property Preservation & Inspections
As Senior Vice President of Property Preservation and Inspections, Denia Ray leads Genstone Field Services’ national preservation and inspection divisions, overseeing end-to-end operations, compliance, and client engagement. With more than 30 years of experience across commercial and residential real estate – including 20+ years as a prime HUD contractor managing mortgagee compliance, preservation, valuations, utilities, taxes, and REO marketing – Denia brings deep industry expertise to the organization. She also pioneered the nation’s first centralized SFR solution in 2009, supporting 17,000 scattered-site rentals. Known for her collaborative, solutions-driven leadership, Denia drives innovation and operational excellence, helping position GFS as a trusted partner to government, institutional, and private clients nationwide.

Arek Helcberger
Vice President, Inspections
Arek Helcberger has led GFS’s nationwide inspection operations since 2011, bringing over 20 years of experience in mortgage field services. As Vice President of Inspections, he oversees all pre- and post-foreclosure inspection activities, ensuring compliance, performance, and operational excellence across a large network of inspectors. Arek is a driving force behind technology integration initiatives that improve reporting accuracy and turnaround times, enabling clients to make faster, data-driven decisions. His commitment to quality, innovation, and process improvement has positioned GFS’s inspection services as a benchmark for accuracy, reliability, and regulatory compliance.

Deanna Alfredo
Senior Vice President, SFR Services
As Senior Vice President of SFR Services, Deanna Alfredo leads Genstone Field Services’ national Single-Family Rental division, managing occupied maintenance, emergency repairs, and turn operations across the United States. With more than 20 years of leadership experience in property management, maintenance, and asset preservation, Deanna brings a proven record of operational innovation and client success. She is responsible for aligning service delivery with client performance goals, ensuring each portfolio benefits from efficiency, accountability, and a resident-first approach. Deanna’s collaborative and results-oriented leadership style empowers cross-functional teams to deliver measurable outcomes and scalable solutions. Her entrepreneurial background and deep industry knowledge help drive GFS’s continued growth in the SFR market and beyond.

Chuck King
Vice President, Vendor Management
Chuck King serves as Vice President of Vendor Management, overseeing the recruitment, vetting/compliance, and performance of GFS’s nationwide network of vendor partners. Since joining the company in 2008, Chuck has played a pivotal role in optimizing contractor operations, improving communication between field partners and internal teams, and ensuring service quality across all business lines. His broad experience in preservation, vendor relations, and technology allows him to design and implement scalable systems that strengthen efficiency and accountability. Working closely with every division, Chuck supports GFS’s continued growth through streamlined processes, transparent reporting, and collaborative vendor partnerships. His leadership ensures that the GFS vendor network remains one of the most trusted and reliable in the industry.
